Hope these photos help some. It is a rather large
but not impossible task to raise or lower the bucket.
I would take some measurements of where the
bucket is know. Decide how many inches you want
to raise or lower it. Turn the adjuster in or out
that many inches.

Removing the nut #31 in Detail B Figure
5-13 should allow you to remove the knob
(Apple) #30 in Detail B Figure 5-13.
However, I am not sure of this. I could not
get the nut loose without putting the Apple
it in a vice and I wasn't going to do that.

If you remove the center handle by filing the
end of the stop pin #3 in Figure 5-13, you
can reuse the pin. Drive the stop pin back in
and stake the pin around the filed edge with
a sharp center punch. That will hold the pin
in good enough for display purposes.

In order to attach the Survival kit to the Bucket, you have to have Lap
Belts and Leg Restraints at least the Blue Leg Lines. For the Lumbar
Pad (depending on which one you have) you have to have the Lap Belts.
